North Georgia Lakes & Streams

From boating to fishing to swimming the recreational opportunities on the water in North Georgia are tremendous. While in North Georgia make sure to take advantage of the many lakes, rivers, and streams.

North Georgia Lakes

Lake Trahlyta is a 20 acre lake located in Vogel State Park.

Carter's Lake is a large watershed lake of over 3000 acres located near Ellijay. Follow the signs from 575.

Lake Burton located in Rabun County. It is over 2700 acres and is easily accessible from Helen or Clayton.

Lake Chatuge is a boaters paradise located mostly in Hiawassee, Georgia. The northern part of the lake is located in North Carolina.

Lake Blue Ridge, in Blue Ridge, has over 100 miles of shoreline and is a great place to rent a cabin for a weekend escape.
